Your Potential, Our Support
A Scholarship at Westall Secondary College provides students with the opportunity to be rewarded for their capabilities and skills on entry to secondary education.
Westall Secondary College Scholarships are available to responsible young people prepared to strive for personal best at secondary level and who will become a credit to their families and to the College.

Types of Scholarships
Aim High Scholarship: Literacy
To be considered for the Aim High Literacy scholarship, students must be above the expected level for a Year 6 student, be committed to their study and have an exemplary school report. Selection will be through a Primary School recommendation, portfolio and interview.
Aim High Scholarship: Numeracy
To be considered for the Aim High Numeracy scholarship, students must be above the expected level for a Year 6 student, be committed to their study and have an exemplary school report. Selection will be through a Primary School recommendation, portfolio and interview.
iCreate Scholarship
The iCreate program provides student with the opportunity to excel in an area they are passionate about. If you are a talented singer, dancer, musician, artist, designer, coder or inventor, you may apply for the iCreate scholarship. Selection will be through a Primary School recommendation, portfolio and interview.
Community Leadership Scholarship
Community Leadership Scholarships are available to Year 7 students who have demonstrated an outstanding work ethic at primary level, have been supportive of fellow students, have demonstrated leadership skills and have fully participated in the life of their school and community. Selection will be through a Primary School recommendation, portfolio and interview.
Sports Scholarship
Sports Scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated outstanding sporting ability in any team sport. Selection will be through a Primary School recommendation, portfolio and interview.
Applying for a Scholarship
To apply for a scholarship, students must complete the application form, including the Primary School recommendation section. All applications for scholarships must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 19 September 2025 (last day of term 3).
Please note:
- Scholarship applications should be submitted via email to Reia Grey at reia.grey@education.vic.gov.au
- There is no need to submit certificates or any other ‘evidence’ with the scholarship application. Please list achievements in the section provided on the scholarship application form.
Suitable candidates will be shortlisted and Interviews will be held at the College during the early part of term 4. The value of each of the Scholarships is the total amount of the subject contributions and school charges for the school year, plus additional extras appropriate to the scholarship.
