Westall Secondary College provides its students with opportunities to build a strong identity and culture of excellence through its sports program. Traditional values of respect, fairness, responsibility, and resilience are developed as part of a student’s participation in sport.
Students at Year 7 and 8 participate on a weekly basis against other schools in the Kingston Division of the School Sport Victoria Competition. If their team is successful in the weekly Kingston Division, teams can progress to Regional and State finals.
For the older year levels, students are given the opportunity to represent the school in their chosen sport at local gala days and if successful, follow a similar path to regional and state finals.
The school also provides opportunities for students to extend their involvement in sport at the annual Vic All Schools Championships for Volleyball and Badminton, as well as the NRL Victoria gala days. For further information please contact the school’s Sports Coordinator.
